BHADRACHALAM has a lot of wonderful events jeweled in it's crown.
# After Sri Rama self-manifested on Bhadragiri and was worshiped for some years, during the course of time, the idols were covered naturally by large ant hills.
# During 17th century, Sri Rama appeared in the dream of a tribal lady called 'Dammakka' (considered to be incarnation of Bhakta Shabari) to let her know where the idols were present around Bhadragiri. Dammakka, after an exhaustive search, could find the idols. She installed them again in a temporary abode and started worshiping.

# When Ramadasu wanted to install a CHAKRA on the temple GOPURAM, he couldn't get it made by any man. Later, as Ramadasu was advised in his dream by Lord Sri Rama, he got a Swayambhu CHAKRA to be installed on temple GOPURAM, through the streams of Godavari river.

the disguise of common man, re-paid all the money and got Ramadasu released from jail.
# After Ramadasu spent his life time in Bhadrachalam, he went to VAIKUNTAM in a golden chariot with his physical body - while the localites of Bhadrachalam village were witnessing with their eyes.
# KALYANAM of Sri Rama with Seeta Devi is celebrated everyday in this temple
# Along with Sri Ramadasu and Dammakka, Bhadrachalam is associated with many saint poets and ardent devotees like Toomu Narasimhadasu, Varada Ramadasu.
# At PARNASALA near Bhadrachalam, we can still see the place where Sri Rama lived, where THATAKI troubled Sri Rama, where Seeta Devi used to take bath and where Seeta Devi used to dry her saree.
# YETAPAKA, a nearby village of Bhadrachalam, is where the wing of Vulture King JATAYU fell down while fighting with RAVANA (during the abduction of Seeta Devi).
