Sri Kethaki Sangameswara temple - in Jharasangam, near Zuheerabad, Madak district - is the holy place where Lord Brahma performed Penance on Lord Siva. After completing creation of the universe, Lord Brahma meditated on Lord Siva here, amidst a garden full of Kewda (KETHAKI - MOGALI) bushes - for the well-being of his creation (this universe).

The Pushkarini here is called 'AMRUTA KUNDAM' is said to have medicinal values and miraculous powers.
In KritaYuga, a king called 'Kupendra' used to be suffering from a severe skin disease. During hunting, he reached this place and happened to take bath in AMRUTA KUNDAM. After going back to his palace, he found that his skin disease got cured. Afterwards he was ordered by Lord Siva in his dream for building a temple here.

Though Kewda flower is banned traditionally from all worships in any Hindu temple, the specialty of this temple is - SIVA LINGAM is worshiped by Kewda flowers here.
