Nemili Sri Bala Peetham

NEMILI Sri Bala Peetam - is a household which Mother Sri Bala Tripura Sundari herself chose to stay, at Nemili village, about 24 KM away from Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu.

It's considered to be one of the most holy places of Mother Goddess, where the presence of Mother Bala's affection is clearly felt by many devotees.

It was almost 100 years back that Mother Bala appeared in the dream of a great devotee Sri Subramania Iyer and informed him of her arrival into his house. In the next three days, Sri Iyer got a Bronze idol of 3-inch size of Sri Bala in the streams of the river passing by the side of his house. Mother Bala's idle was consecrated in the middle of their house.

From then onwards, Bala Peetam became one of the most sacred places of worship for Mother Goddess. 

Kanchi Paramacharya Sri Sri Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamy also visited this Peetam along with his disciples, and worshipped Mother Bala for three days. He felt the presence of all the Gods and Goddesses at this Peetam.

There are many special things to mention about Mother Bala at Nemili -
# One can visit this Peetam only if Mother Bala wants them to visit
# By praying to Mother Bala, numerous people got rid of their problems, which otherwise were impossible to resolve
# Mother's NAIVEDYAM here are - chocolates and biscuits. Devotees who visit the temple get the same as PRASADAM
# Mother Bala came to this abode - out of affection, more than devotion
# Mother expects the devotees to visit her out of affection, with no money/gifts offered. If anybody visits her with offerings, Mother gets disappointed

This is a great place for a devotee who wants to experience the real affection of Mother in the form of Bala and get immersed in the pure innocent love of Bala.
