"GOOD DEEDS OF THE ELDERS MAKE THE LIVES OF YOUNGER GENERATIONS PROSPER"
# Much before India got her independence, when there was a derth of good brides in Andhra Pradesh, she reached Guntur as a child of 8 years - along with her mother and elder sister (may be, aged around 11 years) from Singanallur, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.
# Her mother got her elder sister married off in a traditional brahmin family around Ongole and her to our grand father at a village (Kommur) near Bapatla, Guntur district.
# She became a mother of 16 children, of which only 9 could cross BALARISHTA's and grew up. Even afterwards, she lost two grown-up sons again.
# With too many house-hold responsibilities, meagre and costly travel facilities in those days, she COULD NEVER visit her parents / brothers / sisters at least once in her life-time (very heartwrenching to know this) after her marriage.
She went through all such pains with tremendous strength.
# She won the respect and affection of the whole village - as the wife of chief priest of SIVALAYAM.
# Though by birth a Tamilian, she learnt to speak and write Telugu language from one of her sons.
# Though living a strict orthodox life, she cooked and fed all those who came to her house, without any discrimination of caste, creed or religion. Humanity is her richest trait.

# Though later on, her sons / daughters / grand sons / grand daughters got well settled in life, she reached Goddess Kamakshi without experiencing any of this glory here, leaving behind her humanitarian values and blessings for us.
It is Smt. Krishnavenamma, my dear grand mother whom I haven't seen in person.
No doubt, she is one of the most magnificent persons to be remembered everyday ... Salutes to you, dear BAMMA.
